I understand the profound impact that hair loss can have on one's confidence and sense of self. I've walked that same path – the hours, the money, and the emotional toll of trying every possible remedy, from shampoos to prescriptions, to prevent hair loss and thinning. I firmly believe that nobody should have to endure this journey alone.​​
​​My motivation behind setting up The Scalp Studio has been to bring safe, reliable, effective, and affordable scalp micropigmentation (SMP) treatments to Singapore. I've dedicated countless hours to research and training to seamlessly and safely make this transformative treatment easily accessible to you.
​My training and certification has been from leading pioneers in the industry in both the USA and UK. I am deeply involved in every aspect of the business, including the extensive training of our ink artists to ensure our services consistently meet the highest quality standards in the industry.

At The Scalp Studio, Kate is dedicated to providing the highest quality scalp micropigmentation procedures, in a safe and secure environment. Kate's extensive training and certifications go beyond the highest industry standards to ensure her clients have total peace of mind during their treatment.

As The Scalp Studio grows, Kate is committed to personally training all future team members, so that the same high-quality standard of treatment is consistently maintained.
​Kate was mentored in the USA by Matthew Iulo, one of the pioneers of the SMP industry, and founder and owner of Scalp Micro USA.
Kate travelled to New York to undertake her training in person at his New York branch, and benefitted from being under the close and watchful eye of Matthew.
Under his tutelage at Scalp Micro USA, Kate gained knowledge on the best micropigmentation methods, tools and how to design natural looking hairlines.
Kate has also trained under Michael Koumis, director of Scalpology, - the most recognised
and trusted SMP provider in the UK.
From Michael's SMP Masterclass, Kate perfected the more advanced SMP techniques such as hair density, gradients and hair colour theory, allowing her to deliver personalised treatment plans to meet her clients' unique requirements.
