The Scalp Studio takes pride in upholding a high standard on SMP practice. The SMP industry is growing in Singapore, and to ensure not just our own SMP artists are trained to a high standard, we want to ensure that a future generation of SMP artists are trained to the same standards, even if they don't work for us.
To ensure our trainees passing our Masters Certification have had substantial, real life practical experience of SMP treatment.
So we are looking for individuals experiencing balding or thinning hair who are eager to participate in our upcoming training sessions. This is your chance to receive a cutting-edge treatment at a fraction of the cost.

Suitability?
Criteria for Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) Model Candidates:
Experiencing Hair Loss: Must be currently experiencing balding or thinning hair.
Gender: Open to both male and female candidates.
Age: Must be 18 years or older.
Health Conditions: Should not have scalp conditions that could affect the SMP process (e.g., psoriasis, eczema on the scalp) without prior consultation and approval.
Skin Sensitivity: No known allergies to pigments or materials used in the SMP procedure(e.g., latex)
Commitment: Available to attend all required sessions as scheduled throughout the training course.
Aftercare: Willing and able to follow post-treatment care instructions to ensure the best results and contribute to the training experience.
Consent: Must sign a model consent and waiver form acknowledging the risks and conditions of being an SMP model.
Photography: Agree to before, during, and after treatment photographs and videos for training and promotional purposes.
Candidates meeting these criteria are encouraged to apply to be part of an innovative journey to redefine training standards in the scalp micropigmentation industry.

Recent Photo Submission:
Take a clear, recent photo of your scalp without using any hair products or hair systems. Ensure the photo accurately represents your current hair condition.

Review Process:
Our team will carefully review your photo to assess your suitability for the SMP procedure as a model. We're looking for candidates who can benefit most from the treatment and contribute to the training experience.

What's involved in being a model?
Here’s a detailed overview of how the process works:

Initial Sessions with Trainees
Hands-On Experience: The first 1-2 sessions of your SMP treatment will be conducted by our dedicated trainees. This provides them with invaluable hands-on experience.
Expert Supervision: Throughout these initial sessions, our trainees work under the DIRECT and watchful supervision of our SMP Expert, Kate Cheung. Her guidance ensures that the procedures adhere to our high standards of quality and safety.

Finalisation by Qualified Artists
Professional Completion: After the initial sessions with our trainees, the full treatment will be finalised by our fully qualified TSS SMP Artists. Their expertise ensures that your treatment achieves the aesthetic and quality outcomes we stand for.
Advanced Techniques: Our TSS SMP Artists use advanced techniques and their extensive experience to refine and perfect your SMP treatment, ensuring results that meet our studio's esteemed reputation.
